Disaster Recovery

Disaster recovery is a critical component in Alarm Central Station's service strategy. As an Alarm Central Station customer, you can rest assured knowing that you are protected even during a natural disaster.

Hurricane Rita, the fourth-most intense Atlantic hurricane ever recorded, caused $11.3 billion in damage on the U.S. Gulf Coast in September 2005. The storm was responsible for heavy damage along the Louisiana and southeastern Texas coasts, killing seven people directly.

When Hurricane Rita arrived, Alarm Central Station worked disaster recovery for Eagle Broadband in Houston. Telephone lines were forwarded in a timely manner, allowing Alarm Central Station to gracefully take over monitoring during the storm, so that customers stayed protected throughout the disaster.

We are more than a monitoring service.

We develop plans and strategies paired with the most applicable technologies, to meet ever-changing security threats.
